CBT therapy coming soon

I am currently studying a level 5 diploma in cognitive behavioural therapy (a form of counselling). The aim is, once qualified, to offer men one to one counselling with any funds received from sponsors (more explain on this below) supporting this. Meaning, we can use this money to pay for the counselling which will then be at no cost to those who really need it.

However, people can still self refer, or maybe an employer, with ther clients permission, which they can fund themselves should free sessions not be available. This is also accessible to women also.

Did you know that on average there is a 12 to 18 month waiting list for counselling via the NHS

What is CBT therapy?

Cognitive therapy works on the ways you think and give things meaning. Behavioural therapy troubleshoots your choices and actions. Cognitive behavioural therapy combines these approaches.

CBT is a popular short-term psychotherapy that helps you take charge of the ways you think and behave, so your thoughts no longer dictate your mood and your choices move your forward

Does cognitive behavioural therapy really work?

It’s one of the most evidence-based therapies available, making it the preferred form of therapy of the NHS ✓ for depression and anxiety disorders.

A research overview published in the British Medical Journal (BMJ) using data from eleven different studies concluded that the cognitive behavioural approach is as effective as antidepressants for treating depression in adults.

Cost per hour session

£40 per one hour session with face to face or zoom calls possible. Block booking advisable but not mandatory. Sessions will always take place in a private safe environment.

Payments must be made upfront at least 48hrs before the session with a strict 24hr no refund cancellation policy in place.

Sponsored CBT sessions 

A sponsor is an individual, business, company or group who will affectively pay for a person’s counselling (men only). Every bit of money taken in by a sponsor will go towards their counselling, and this only. Although we can’t tell you the names of the individuals who receive counselling via a sponsors money, we will keep a clear and accurate account of the numbers who’ve been fortunate to benefit from your help.
